In 2010 we celebrated the 200th anniversary of Lavistown House and the 31st year of courses here.
We are delighted to announce that we are starting a sensitive re-development which will provide you, our visitors and friends, past and present, with a new environment in which to learn a skill.
We are adding a new garden room, demonstration kitchen and also restoring the grounds that surround the house. We won’t be offering residential options in future but we will be happy to arrange accommodation locally.
The development will take time so we will be closed for most of 2011. However, we are running some of our most asked-for courses and would love to welcome you to one of these.
